Last weekend I turned 24 so I thought it was finally time to get my act together and start a proper blog – a place where I can share outfits in more detail and record all of the things floating around in my head…
I spent the day wondering around rainy Northern Quarter, and stopped for lunch at my current favourite food spot, Federal Cafe. Luckily, Manchester is full of hidden gems to hideout in when the weather is bad, which lets face it is most of the time! Federal do the best breakfast food so I would definitely recommend you stop by if you’re in the area. I opted for my usual fail-safe combination of vintage blouse and dungarees but this time with Docs to shield my feet from the rain. I normally find longer dungarees very unflattering on me but these ones feature a waist tie and feel much more elegant. You could also dress them up with a leather jacket and heeled sandals! They are from a brand that i’m really into at the moment called HE, they have some really classic vintage inspired pieces that are easy to style and look effortless which are both things i’m very on board with…
Dungarees – He Official
Blouse – Vintage
Shoes – Dr Martens (similar here)
Bag – Beyond Retro
Congrats on the new blog! Are you a college student or do you work in fashion in Manchester?
College was many years ago for me now ha! I graduated from uni a few years ago and moved back to Manchester – I work in fashion as an e-commerce assistant and blog part time 🙂
