Today’s post is a little tribute to this navy vintage blazer that I’ve been wearing loads recently – I picked it up from The Level Store and really couldn’t recommend them enough if you’re in the market for well curated vintage pieces that will last you forever….
They handpick some amazing neutral pieces and they all have such a classic feel to them. This happens to be a vintage Marks & Spencer’s blazer but it feels so expensive and luxurious. I reckon vintage blazers are one of the easiest vintage pieces to ‘get right’ if you aren’t one for dipping your toes into sourcing second hand items. You really just need to get the shoulder measurements right and you’re pretty much guaranteed a great fit. If you like things oversized like I do then it’s even breezier! My vintage blazers tend to be the pieces in my wardrobe that I hold onto for the longest…
The recent transitional weather has really got me back into my jeans again for the first time in ages and I’m not complaining. I love how simple this outfit is and yet the strappy shoes and neck scarf make it feel so much more powerful! Not to mention these Gucci cat eye sunglasses that I haven’t stopped raving about since I bought them. I seriously don’t think I ever need to buy another pair of sunglasses ever again, they are just instant mood changers whenever it’s sunny enough to put them on…
A classic navy or black blazer is a great place to start if you’re intimidated by prints too. This one gives me that ‘back to school’ vibe and just generally makes me feel like I’m ready to take on the day ahead. Definitely a strong staple piece that will serve my wardrobe well for many moons to come…
