The next two posts are basically just an excuse for me to share some film snaps of my new hat. It’s possibly the prettiest hat I’ve ever owned, and I’m just so smitten with how it transforms so many looks! Although it seems to be based around the popular bucket hat design, it feels like a vintage piece that someone might have worn back in the Sixties/Seventies…
It’s made from the softest brown cord material, and I really like the way it just blends in with my short brown hair. It’s the type of piece that will look great all summer long with girly dresses and soft linens, but will be so much fun to style when autumn/winter comes around too…
I’m picturing it with a long black coat and an oversized scarf! The whole ‘it’s freezing outside so I just threw on everything that was by the door’ type of effortless. It also makes me feel like a character from a murder mystery novel – something which will never not be appealing to my wardrobe…
