Russell And Bromley are most certainly one of those nostalgic brands for me – particularly around autumn/winter time. Recognised for their beautiful Italian made loafers and classically unique leather designs, they are a brand that has always been close to my heart. A brand that has always been present in my upbringing, and will continue to have a special place in my wardrobe. They started out as a family run store on London’s famous Bond street, and now run stores dotted all over the UK – offering that that luxury shopping experience that promises to elevate the most simple of outfits…
I feel so very lucky to be able to work with Russell and Bromley on this post, and highlight a few of my favourite new pieces for the season ahead! It’s no secret that this time of year is my absolute favourite when it comes to fashion – so I’ve really enjoyed getting back into a/w mode and discovering some new styles too. The first look is one that I’d be happy to wear all autumn long – the check skirt with the chunky buttons is quite a dressy piece, but teamed with a classic mohair jumper, it’s that perfect juxtaposition that I’m always looking for in my outfits. I opted for the Cryptic boots by Russell And Bromley to add a bit of height to the outfit and keep things smart and Sixties inspired. They feature the most beautiful metal plate detailing just underneath the heel, which really adds a bit interest and makes them stand out against the standard black suede boot. Teamed with a classic round leather bag – they are my ultimate vintage inspired accessories of choice to complete this cosy autumnal look. It’s the type of look I’d reach for when going to an event or meetings – I feel like it perfectly portrays my personal style, but there’s also something quite sophisticated and ‘grown up’ about it. I definitely feel most confident in a great pair of black boots and a statement jumper.

The second look is perfect for work or a day running errands around the city – there’s something about a round bag that instantly makes any outfit look put together. I love this one because it can be worn across body, or held as more of a clutch bag for the evening. It also fits in everything I need for the day ahead (and then some), meaning it’s not just one of those bags that looks good, it’s practical too! The classic gold hardware and branding is also perfect for me as I only tend to wear gold jewellery – it’s these little touches that inject that element of luxury into an outfit and make it a conversation starter. Basically, if you’re looking for the perfect little black bag this season – the Rosa bag will answer all your prayers…

Whenever I’m wearing an oversized jumper (a piece that’s overtly casual), I like to mix it up and wear something a little more unexpected on the bottom. Similar to the first outfit – it’s all about playing around with statement accessories to transform items in my wardrobe that I already own. A pair of crop flare trousers and some croc kitten heels are the perfect way to create shape when wearing a jumper that’s so slouchy and oversized. I have to say, this is my first ever pair of kitten heels, and they have definitely won me over. They have made a huge comeback recently, and I’m thanking my lucky stars as someone who is rubbish at walking in high heels. A comfortable heel that can be worn day or night is the one for me – these aptly named Kitty heels by Russell And Bromley are a match made in heaven for balancing out the crop flares. There’s just something that feels so stylish about showing that little bit of ankle, and it’s a look I return to over and over again. I can be feeling frumpy and lacklustre, but throw on the right pair of shoes and suddenly each item in my wardrobe is imagined a little differently and I start to feel inspired again…
